Although many of us are familiar with this mint and its wonderful aroma, our relationship with lavender goes way beyond its use in perfumes and essential oils. Various species of lavender have been cultivated for hundreds of years to aid with mood, digestion, fatigue, general well-being and so much more. In this hands-on workshop we will make various remedies with lavender; including lavender infused honey, oxymels, tinctures, incense and oils. These are simple, gentle, effective remedies you can make at home and enjoy lavender all year round! We will also learn about the different species of lavender, their history, spiritual and culinary uses, and how to harvest and process lavender for optimal aromatics and medicine.
